With the announcement 3 weeks ago of legendary Cold Chisel headlining the 2010 Deniliquin Ute Muster on Saturday 2nd October ticket sales have been extraordinary.

This will be Cold Chisel's only major performance this year, cementing the Deniliquin Ute Muster as one of Australia’s flagship Festival’s for 2010.

John Harvie, General Manager is thrilled to see over 300 tickets selling per day since the Chisel announcement.

“The Deni Ute Muster has never seen such a remarkable rate of ticket sales at this time of year in its history.

“We believe we have produced the best entertainment lineup both days and nights celebrating everything Australian as well as showcasing the Cream of Australian music.

“With Lee Kernaghan, Kasey Chambers, John Williamson, James Reyne, Corb Lund, Steve Forde, Jasmine Rae, Luke Austen, The Pigs and Tori Darke also performing on the main stage Friday and Saturday nights firmly cements our Festival as a ‘cannot miss’ on anyone’s calendar,” he said.

The Day Stage lineup is now confirmed giving up and coming talented Australian artists the opportunity to perform in front of thousands.

Cory Hargreaves, Marcus Meier, Lacey Gage, Victoria Baillie, Mark Wells, The Pigs, Tori Darke, Lianna Rose and Jasmine Rae will be gracing the Day Stage each day.

Furthermore, a top class entertainment programme of extreme sports, bull ride spectacular, IWA Pro Wrestling, AWPA NSW Whip cracking Championships, ute competitions, displays and exhibitions to suit all ages.

In only 12 years the Deniliquin Ute Muster has grown from strength to strength. A not-for-profit community driven Festival held on the NSW Labour Day Long weekend every year the Muster provides a much needed economic boost to the region.

Around 20,000 people from all over OZ and beyond make the pilgrimage each year to be part of this national iconic event.

Set on the flattest open plains on earth the site includes a huge family camping area that caters for sedans, caravans, camper trailers and mobile homes so if you don’t have a ute – don’t despair, everyone is welcome.
