The Air-Up System consists of an aluminium cylinder of pressurized CO2 that is stored in a liquid state and released as a vapor through a specially designed regulator. The Air-Up System can inflate tyres, run air tools, re-seat beads and is the fastest portable way to air up.
Very few 12 volt compressors can match both the flowrate and high pressure of the Air-Up System. The custom built regulator is adjustable from 0 to 200 psi and the high amount of air flow generated by a fully open regulator is much greater than that achieved by most vehicle air compressors. Unlike a 12 volt or 240 volt air compressor the Air-Up System is fully portable. Our coil hose is extremely light weight and is rated at 200 psi working pressure, 1000 psi burst pressure and is half the weight of current 1/2 inch air hoses used in the construction and automotive industries. The quick connect fittings are rated at 300 psi.
Unlike commonly available regulators, the Superflow regulator is designed to provide a high flow rate, which is what enables the Air-Up system to inflate tyres at a high rate of speed and run air tools. Normal CO2 regulators will freeze clog and sometimes destroy internal parts even at moderate flow rates. The Air-up regulator is compact, well built and guaranteed to perform. The adjustable regulator limits the maximum outlet pressure no matter what the pressure is inside the cylinder.
All of the Air-Up components are heavy duty and built to maximize safety. Every component of the Air-Up System is brand new and made to Australian Standards. Air-Up's aluminium cylinders are overbuilt for pressures substantially higher than the Air-Up's standard operating pressure.
Superflow regulators are designed and built to withstand much harsher conditions than any normal regulators are expected to endure - outdoor heat, moisture, dirt and vibration. Add to that the sub-freezing effects of high output of CO2 vapor. There are no environments that request the demands of a high-pressure regulator.
The handle at the top doubles as a guard, protecting the regulator and valve from getting knocked and damaged. It is made of solid 6061-T6 rod and billet and secured to the cylinder with 3/8" stainless-steel bolts. Naturally, whenever handling high-pressure equipment, precautions and common sense must be practised.
