Here’s a handy table to help 4WD owners convert litres per 100 km to miles per gallon.
A mistake in calculating fuel usage can be very costly and a danger to human life. Be careful to carry enough in all areas and also carry a decent radio or satellite phone in remote areas.

Conversion Rate:
- Km divided by litres = km per litre
- 100 divided by km per litre = litres per 100 km
- 1/100 km into miles per gallon, divide 282.48 by 1/100km
