About Norcoast Refrigeration Company
Norcoast Refrigeration Company has been making special purpose, high energy efficient, battery powered refrigerators and freezers for 25 years.
Our vaccine units have been WHO/UNICEF approved for more than 17 years. We currently have two vaccine units WHO approved. The NRC30-10 has a combination 30 litre vaccine refrigerator and a 10 litre ice-pack freezer. The NRC120-30 has a combination 120 litre vaccine refrigerator and a 30 litre ice-pack freezer.
Norcoast Refrigeration is a family run business which has sold direct to the public for 25 years. Our cabinets are very robust and are most suitable for use in recreational off-road vehicles, remote area work vehicles and also military vehicles. They are top opening chest type cabinets constructed of 2mm thick marine grade aluminium and with 75mm or 125mm of polyurethane insulation.
We have recently developed our "Battery Free Solar Ice-pack Freezer" (US Patent). This unit can freeze 75 x 0.4 litre ice-packs in one to three days depending on the particular model cabinet and number of solar panels used.
