COOPER TIRES SOLVE PRADO PROBLEM

a problem for owners of the 2003 model Toyota Prado.
The tyres fitted as original equipment on the newest Prado, and some other 4WDs, are causing headaches for their Australian owners undertaking outback trips. These tyres are not sufficiently robust to withstand travel along the Birdsville Track and to popular destinations such as the Simpson Desert and Uluru. Punctures are commonplace and drivers are finding this new 17” size tyre, if available at all, is very expensive to replace.
